India's star sprinter Hima Das won an elusive gold medal in the 400m race on Saturday. Das completed the race with her season-best timing as she clocked the timing of 52.09 seconds. Her personal best timing is 50.79 seconds, recorded at the 2018 Asian Games.

This is her fifth gold medal since July 2 when she won her first gold medal of the year at the Poznan Athletics Grand Prix.
After that, on July 8 at the Kutno Athletics Meet, Hima won her second 200m gold medal.
On July 13 at the Kladno Athletics Meet, Hima bagged her third 200m gold medal.
She won the fourth medal gold at 200m in Tabor Athletic Meet on Wednesday.
