A Bengaluru traffic cop has won hearts and minds after he stopped the President's convoy to let an ambulance pass.
The traffic cop, MLNijalingappa, stopped the President's convoy to let an ambulance through at Bengaluru's Trinity Circle on Saturday.
President Pranab Mukherjee was in the city to inaugrate the Green Line metro and was at the time heading back to Raj Bhavan.
Traffic was heavy at the time but sub-inspector Nijalingappa quickly passed on directions that way be made for the ambulance.
BenagluruPolice later announced a reward for Nijalingappa.
