
For the first time since 1946, a dim star - which is 3,000 light-years from oursolar system - will be visible in the night sky among other constellations and one will be able to see it with naked eyes.
The "Blaze Star", which is officially known as T Coronae Borealis(T CrB), is likely to brighten significantly from magnitude +10 (beyond naked-eye visibility) to magnitude +2 between now and September 2024, as per NASA.
That means its brightness will be similar to Polaris, which is the North Star and is the 48th-brightest star in the night sky.

The Blaze Star is located in the constellation Corona Borealis, the "Northern Crown", which is between the constellations Hercules and Bootes.
The easiest process of spotting the Corona Borealis is by first locating some of the night sky's brightest stars.
The star gazers can see the stars of the Big Dipper shining high in the northern sky on a clear night.
When the Big Dipper's handle of stars is traced in a curve to Arcturus, one will observe a bright, reddish star located above the eastern horizon.
This is called the famous "arc to Arcturus" star-hop. In the east-northeast will rise the vega and when one looks between Arcturus and Vega (slightly closer to Arcturus) and tries to spot a faint curl of seven stars, one will observe Corona Borealis.

The star will be high overhead after dark. The Blaze Star will become clearly visible before summerends.
This star is a rare example of a recurrent nova, which in Latin means "new star". This is a binary star system which has a cool, red giant star as well a smaller and hotter white dwarf star - both of which are orbiting each other.
After the passing of every 80 years, the red giant star releases matter on the surface of the white dwarf which leads to an explosion.
