The suspected killers of the Punjab RSS leader shot dead Tuesday morning have been caught on CCTV.

News reports, citing CCTV footage, had said the killers had recced the area before the shooting.

Ravinder Gosai had been shot in Ludhiana while walking home from a shakha.

In the CCTV footage, two men on a motorcycle can be seen driving down a narrow lane with houses on either side.

Both men have their faces covered.

A few seconds later, the two men are seen returning the way they had gone.

News reports quoted eyewitness as saying Gosai was shot at close range.

And that he was rushed to hospital but he died from his injuries.

This is not the first time a senior RSS leader has been killed in Punjab.

Brigadier (retd) Jagdish Gagneja, senior vice-president of the Punjab RSS, was shot dead by young men on a bike in Jalandhar last year.

Gagneja's killers have not been caught so far.
