Newly-elected Gujarat cabinet to hold first meeting tomorrow

The newly-elected Gujarat cabinet will hold its first meeting on December 27 in Gandhinagar.

The meeting is scheduled for 10 am.


Vijay Rupani was sworn in as the Chief Minister of the state while Nitin Patel was appointed as the Deputy Chief Minister earlier today. 

A total of twenty ministers were scheduled to take the oath for the new cabinet on December 26.

The BJP secured a total of 99 out of 182 assembly seats in the recently conducted Gujarat elections. Congress bagged 77 seats.
