Ad filmmaker Prahlad Kakkar has recently stirred fresh conversations in Bollywood after opening up about Priyanka Chopra’s past relationship, which he described as a “serious affair” that the actress consciously chose to keep away from public scrutiny.

What's the story?

In an interview with Vickey Lalwani, Kakkar praised Priyanka’s professionalism and resilience along with shedding light on why she never addressed speculation about her alleged romance. Without naming anyone, he said, “Priyanka is a doll, she’s a great person to work with. She’s very ambitious, very single-minded, very focused. And she has a certain sense of dignity which she will not allow people to enter. So, her whole so-called affair, she never made a comment on it. Everybody else was commenting. She never said anything. She held her dignity. If it was frivolous, she would have laughed. Obviously, it was serious. So, it was very personal to her.”

Also Read: PM Modi's 75th Birthday: Alia, SRK, Aamir and more extend their wishes

Link to Shah Rukh Khan allegations

Though Kakkar refrained from mentioning names, industry chatter has for years linked Priyanka Chopra to Shah Rukh Khan, especially after their undeniable on-screen chemistry in Don (2006) and Don 2 (2011). At the time, rumours even suggested tensions within SRK’s personal life, though both actors remained tight-lipped, never confirming or denying the claims.

Also Read: Which actor will play PM Modi in his biopic Maa Vande?

Early struggles and transformation

Recalling Priyanka’s journey from the 2000 Femina Miss India pageant, where she finished runner-up to Lara Dutta, Kakkar highlighted her early challenges, “Priyanka had huge disadvantages then. She was dark, she had a bad skin, and she was a strong-looking girl. She worked very hard to transform herself. By the time Dostana released, she looked like a million dollars. She had to lose weight, refine her look, and fight stereotypes. Recently, Ad filmmaker Prahlad Kakkar spilled some secret about the global diva Priyanka Chopra. What caught the attention of fans is her "serious affair" before marrying Nick Jonas.

So, it was very personal to her.” Also Read: PM Modi's 75th Birthday: Alia, SRK, Aamir and more extend their wishes Link to Shah Rukh Khan allegations Though Kakkar refrained from mentioning names, industry chatter has for years linked Priyanka Chopra to Shah Rukh Khan, especially after their undeniable on-screen chemistry in Don (2006) and Don 2 (2011). At the time, rumours even suggested tensions within SRK’s personal life, though both actors remained tight-lipped, never confirming or denying the claims. Also Read: Which actor will play PM Modi in his biopic Maa Vande? Early struggles and transformation Recalling Priyanka’s journey from the 2000 Femina Miss India pageant, where she finished runner-up to Lara Dutta, Kakkar highlighted her early challenges, “Priyanka had huge disadvantages then. She was dark, she had a bad skin, and she was a strong-looking girl. She worked very hard to transform herself. By the time Dostana released, she looked like a million dollars. She had to lose weight, refine her look, and fight stereotypes. She’s not a delicate-looking girl—she’s big-boned and had to push herself much harder.” Also Read: Priya Sachdev Kapur makes her first public appearance since Sunjay Kapur's death Why Priyanka moved to Hollywood? Charlie Kirk assassination has brought attention to podcast as a medium. Podcasting evolved from a casual pastime to a tool for ideological warfare, amplifying extremism via both far-right and far-left shows, with real-world consequences like radicalisation and violence

Podcasting, once a niche medium for storytelling, education, and light-hearted banter, has evolved into a potent vehicle for ideological warfare—sometimes with deadly consequences. Even deplatforming by YouTube or Facebook does not stop them; RSS feeds, Rumble, and peer-to-peer hosting keep content alive. The Daily Shoah, hosted by Mike Enoch and others, uses white nationalist comedy. Killstream uses shock-jock tactics and live-stream debates to promote street-level confrontations. These podcasts have strong reach among disillusioned youth and are amplified by social media and recommendation algorithms. They create “rabbit holes” where ironic or casual listening can shift into genuine belief and recruitment for far-right causes. Their popularity became evident when right-wing shows outnumbered and topped listenership on platforms like Spotify and Apple, catering to an underserved anti-woke demographic. The far-left is far behind in the podcast war The far-left uses intellectualism, satire, and irony to reach audiences. Chapo Trap House pioneered the “dirtbag left” style—a mix of socialist critique, comedic takedowns of liberal centrists, and profanity-laden disdain for both Democratic and Republican parties. The show was a Patreon success, once earning over $160,000 per month, funding live tours and shaping millennial socialist discourse. Other shows include The Antifada, which combines Marxist theory with event commentary, and Revolutionary Left Radio, which offers dense philosophical monologues critiquing capitalism and imperialism through radical, often academic frameworks.
A healthy heart starts with the right diet, and according to the British Heart Foundation (BHF), one simple fruit can make a big difference when eaten at the right time of the day. The foundation’s 2014 report revealed how everyday food choices influence weight, cholesterol, and blood pressure, three major risk factors for cardiovascular disease. Among their top recommendations was a fruit many of us already love: the banana.

Why are bananas a heart-healthy choice?

Also Read: Shamita Shetty reveals her No-Gym cardio workout; Burn calories with THIS simple hack

The BHF suggests swapping your 11 am biscuit or pastry for a banana, a smart step toward your daily “5-a-day” intake of fruits and vegetables. Bananas are naturally low in fat, high in fibre, and packed with potassium, making it an ideal choice for a healthy diet. This combination helps maintain healthy blood pressure, lowers cholesterol, and supports steady energy release throughout the day. Unlike sugary snacks, bananas provide natural sweetness without the crash. Also Read: Green Tea vs Matcha: Which one would you prefer to brew? How does eating a banana at 11 am support heart health? Mid-morning is when cravings for biscuits or sugary snacks usually hit but swapping them with a banana can make a huge difference for your heart. Packed with potassium, bananas help regulate blood pressure, while their soluble fibre lowers bad cholesterol and keeps arteries healthy. They also provide steady energy without sugar crashes and promote fullness, helping with weight control—an important factor in preventing heart disease.
