"The response to Alliance Season 1 validated what we always believed, that Indian audiences are ready for a smarter form of reality entertainment. The show didn't just find an audience; it created a community of viewers who were invested in every move, every alliance, and every shift in the game. The love that season 1 got inspired us to ensure we don’t make them wait one full year," said Nikhil Madhok, Director and Head of Originals, Prime Video, India. “ We are bringing back Season 2 sooner, with higher stakes, sharper gameplay, more drama, and an evolved ‘System’ that will test the Allies like never before. Our continued partnership with Banijay Asia allows us to further push the boundaries of this format. Alliance has firmly established itself as a defining title in India's unscripted space, and Season 2 will only strengthen that position."

Deepak Dhar, Founder & Group CEO, Banijay Asia and Endemol Shine India said, “Alliance is a format that asks a very simple question: when the rules keep changing, who can keep their head in the game? That tension between strategy and human behaviour is what made Season 1 so compelling, and it is also what gives us so much room to evolve the show. For Season 2, we’ve gone back to that core and found new ways to test the Allies, not just through the challenges, but through the choices they make and the relationships they build. We’re excited to continue this journey with Prime Video and we will surely push the game to a new level.”

Mrinalini Jain, Group Chief Development Officer, Banijay Asia and Endemol Shine India said, “Alliance has a very particular energy to it. The challenge with bringing back a format that audiences have embraced so quickly is to preserve what made it feel fresh in the first place, while finding new ways to surprise them. Season 2 gave us an opportunity to do exactly that, to reinvent the game without losing its core. We’re also delighted to have Kunal Kemmu return. He brought a distinct personality and sense of humour to the HQ in Season 1, and we’re excited to see him take audiences through what is an even more unpredictable game this time around."

Season 2 promises to be even more exciting than Season 1, with more twists than you can anticipate. Expect the unexpected. Then expect something even more unexpected.

MrBeast was in India for Namit Malhotra's Ramayana event, and this was the collaboration no one saw coming. With over 500 million subscribers, MrBeast is the world's most-subscribed YouTuber, and his appearance at any event automatically brings massive digital attention. This was likely a strategic move by Malhotra's team, but the makers reportedly had to shell out a huge amount for this appearance. The event was held at the DNEG and Prime Focus office in Mumbai. MrBeast attended the event and even chanted 'Jai Shri Ram'. He was seen with lead actor Ranbir Kapoor, producer Namit Malhotra, actor Ravie Dubey, actress Sai Pallavi, and others.
What happens when something as ordinary as getting slightly out of breath starts happening more often? While breathlessness can have several everyday causes, changes in how easily you manage routine activities can sometimes be worth paying attention to. In some cases, shortness of breath may be linked to problems affecting the heart, including heart valve disease. On World Heart Day, these signs are a reminder of why paying attention to changes in heart health matters.

What are heart valves?

The heart has four valves: the tricuspid, pulmonary, mitral and aortic valves, and each opens and closes as the heart pumps. This allows blood to move forward while preventing it from flowing backwards.

When a valve becomes narrowed, stiff or does not close properly, the normal flow of blood can be affected. This is known as heart valve disease, and, depending on the valve involved and the severity of the problem, it can lead to symptoms such as breathlessness, fatigue, dizziness, chest discomfort or swelling.

When can breathlessness point to a heart valve problem?

As per Dr Amit Gupta, Cardiology, Manipal Hospital Dwarka, “Breathlessness is a common symptom that occurs when there is a heart valve problem. In most of the cases, breathlessness on exertion is the initial symptom, which can gradually progress to a stage where the patient experiences breathlessness even at rest or while lying down.”

“But, when breathlessness is associated with swelling of the feet, palpitations or irregular heartbeat, these symptoms can also be associated with a heart valve problem. An ECG and echo (echocardiogram) findings can help differentiate and clearly diagnose a heart valve problem. A person suspected of having a valve problem should undergo an echo screening, which can help assess the severity," Dr Amit concludes.

Dr Saurabh Juneja, Director & HOD, CTVS, Cardiac Sciences, ISIC Multispeciality Hospital, also added and said, “If after a certain point of breathlessness, if one begins to experience difficulty breathing when you are performing normal activities that were once manageable without problems, it should not be overlooked. Sometimes, the first symptom of a heart valve condition may be difficulty breathing.”

He revealed what actually causes the breathlessness if it’s serious: “Four valves in the heart make it easier for blood to flow in the right direction. If the valve becomes constricted, can't open fully or doesn't close all the way, the heart is forced to pump harder. This can cause symptoms of breathlessness, tiredness, swelling in the feet or ankles, dizziness, chest discomfort and an abnormal or irregular heartbeat over time.”

He further added, “Treatment is dependent on the nature and level of the valve problem. Regular monitoring and medication may be enough for some; surgery or valve replacement surgery may be necessary for others. If you notice a change in your breathing that isn't going away, or if you notice a change that is unexplained, don't ignore it.
