Kichcha Sudeep reacts to Darshan's arrest in murder case: 'That family deserves justice'

The arrest of actor Darshan Thoogudeepa in a murder case has sent shockwaves around the Kannada film industry, his fans and across the country. Since June 11,Darshan, his rumoured girlfriend Pavithra Gowda and 16 other people have beenarrested in connection with the murder of a pharmacist, Renukaswamy.
As the investigation is underway, Kannada actor Kichcha Sudeep has reacted to the high-profile murder case.
Speaking to media, as quoted by India Today, the actor demanded justice for Renukaswamy and his family. "We are only aware of what the media is showing to us because we are not going to the police station to get the information. It looks like the media and the police are working hard to uncover the truth. There’s no doubt about that... that family deserves justice. That girl deserves justice,'' he said.

Saying that everyone should believe in justice, he added, ''Renukaswamy, who died on the streets, deserves justice. The unborn child deserves justice. Above all, everyone should have faith in justice, and justice should prevail in this case."
Without mentioning Darshan's name, Sudeep said that this murder has impactedthe Kannada industry's image.

Renukaswamy's Murder Case
On June 11, Kannada actor Darshan's name emerged in the murder of Renukaswamy, a pharmacist from Chitradurga, who as per the details was his fan and was upset because of his relationship with Pavithra Gowda.
Renukaswamy's body was discovered at Sumanahalli Bridge in Bengaluru by a food delivery boy. After an investigation, police discovered actor Darshan's connection in the case through call details.
As per the details, Darshan planned to punish Renukaswamy over his obscene comments on Pavithra's Instagram post. As per reports, it was Pavithra, who instigated Darshan against Renukaswamy.
