Getting into the chaos and bad blood that took place between them and that too in public, Warner Bros. Discovery picks up its popular ‘vs’ series.
The new season, which is the fourth in running, is called Taylor Swift vs Scooter Braun: Bad Blood. It will premiere on discovery+ on July 4 which is as you would have noticed, the day which America celebrates as Independence Day.
This docu-series adds to the hugely popular ‘vs’ format which includes “Johnny vs Amber,” “Kim vs Kanye: The Divorce,” and “Vardy vs Rooney: The Wagatha Trial.” All these seasons have been hugely popular worldwide.
Taylor Swift vs Scooter Braun: Bad Blood will be a two-parts docu-series, produced by Optomen. It will explore the feud between global pop-superstar Taylor Swift and music industry mogul Scooter Braun, delving into the $300 million dispute after Braun bought the rights to Swift’s first six albums in June 2019.
True to the ‘vs’ format like all previous times, the two episodes will examine the opposing sides of the argument – first it will have Team Swift discuss how she wasn’t consulted before such a deal was brokered through. It blocked her from buying her own masters. The second will discuss Scooter Braun’s allegations that Taylor Swift refused to negotiate and instead incited a public feud by pitting her fan base against him.
