Deepika Padukone has been in news for her upcoming film ‘Chhapaak’ ever since her look as an acid attack survivor came out.
Named Malti in the film, Deepika’s story is inspired from true events that took place in the life of real-life acid attack survivor, Laxmi Agarwal. The look has gained a lot of appreciation from her industry colleagues. Even Kangana Ranaut's sister, Rangoli who is an acid attack survivor herself lauded the look.
Deepika has now wrapped the first schedule of her shoot that was taking place in Delhi. In a new clip leaked online, Deepika can be seen kissing her co-star Vikrant Massey who happens to play her partner. The video seems to be shot from a neighbouring terrace in which the two can be seen getting intimate.
Earlier last week, another video from the film made its way online. It revealed one of Deepika's looks from the film that was not unveiled officially by its makers. It showed Malti from her school days and Deepika was seen wearing a school uniform.
‘Chhapaak’ is set to release on January 10, 2020.
Deepika was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's ‘Padmaavat’. She wants to give that role a break and told the media that she won't be playing a Queen on screen anytime soon.
