Jamtara 2 actor Sachin Chandwade tragically ended his life by suicide at the age of 25. He was found hanging by his family at his residence in Parola. Read on to know the details.
Marathi actor Sachin Chandwade, known for his performance in the popular Netflix series Jamtara 2, has died by suicide at the age of 25. The young actor’s tragic death has left the Marathi and Hindi entertainment industries in deep sorrow, with fans and colleagues expressing disbelief over the loss.
Sachin Chandwade's death reason
As per the reports in Maharashtra Times, Sachin's family found him hanging at his residence in Parola, Jalgaon, on October 23. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. The actor was initially taken to a private facility in his village, Undirkhede, and later referred to a hospital in Dhule after his condition got worse. Despite efforts by doctors, the actor was declared dead around 1:30 AM on October 24.
Just a few days before his death, the actor had shared the motion poster of his new Marathi movie Asurvan on his Instagram. Directed by Sachin Ramchandra Ambat, the project features Pooja Moily and Anuj Thakare, alongside Sachin.
Who was Sachin Chandwade?
Sachin Chandwade hailed from Jalgaon district, Maharashtra, and was also working as a software engineer at an IT Park in Pune, carefully balancing his passion and career. Along with friends and family, Asurvan director Sachin Ramchandra has also mourned his untimely death. Taking to Instagram, he wrote, " Soma, what you did was very wrong."

Besides his upcoming Marathi film, Asurvan, Sachin gained recognition from his small yet memorable role in Jamtara 2. The Netflix series was based on small-town phishing scams, which were released in September 2022.
As of now, the Parola police are calling it an ‘accidental death’ case, and are investigating the matter. The reason behind his suicide remains unknown.
