Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran's Aadujeevitham - The Goat Life opened with a fantasticresponse from the audience and critics alike, who were left stunned by Prithviraj's gripping performance in the survival drama.
Directed by Blessy, the movie released in the theatres worldwide on March 28, has got an outstanding response at the box office. In the first week of its release, the movie earned a milestone, as it went on to collect Rs 100 crore (Rs 1 billion)at the worldwide box office.
The Malayalam drama has achieved this in the eight days of its release. On Saturday (March 6), Prithviraj expressed his gratitude for the movie's success.

If we look at thebox office collection in India, the movie is close to hitting the Rs 50 crore (Rs 150 million) mark. As per sacnilk, the film has earned an estimated Rs 47 crore (Rs 147 million)in India net. However, the major collection of the movie has come from the Malayalam language.

Directed and written by National award-winning director Blessy, the movie is an adaptation of the Malayalam novel ''Aadujeevitham'' by Benyamin and tells the heartwrenching story of a Kerala man who with a dream of earning big moves to Saudi Arabia, however, his life takes a tragic turn as he got stuck in the arid lands of Saudi desert where he's forced to do the job of a goatherd.
The survival drama which had been in the making for over 10 years now, told the real-life story of a Kerala man Najeeb.
The movie also stars Amala Paul, KR Gokul, Talib al Balushi, RikAby and Jimmy Jean-Louis.
