
Neetu Kapoor shared a throwback photo with her husband, veteran actor Rishi Kapoor on Tuesday to mark his 4th death anniversary. The actor died after a long battle with cancer during the first lockdown in 2020.
Neetu penned a sweet note to mark the day and admitted that life has been different since Rishi Kapoor's passing.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Neetu shared an old photo where she and Rishi Kapoor can be seen smiling at the camera. "4 years for us life can never be the same without you," Neetu wrote in the caption.
As soon as she shared the photo, fans took to the comment section to remember Rishi Kapoor. The couple's daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahani also dropped heart emojis in the comment section.
One of the fans wrote, “Some stories never ends #RishiKapoor Thank you Neetu Ji for sharing.” Another wrote, “We miss you Rishi sir ji.”

Fondly referred to as Chintu, Rishi Kapoor left an indelible mark on the Hindi film industry and featured in several iconic films in his long illustrious career. He made his debut in Mera Naam Joker, a film that was helmed by his father, the legendary Raj Kapoor. Through his various roles, he captivated audiences and became a star who ruled hearts and box office in the 1970s and 80s.
In 1980, Rishi Kapoor married his co-star Neetu Singh. The iconic pair had delivered several hits together including Amar Akbar Anthony, Kabhie Kabhie, Khel Khel Mein and more. They were blessed with two children, actor Ranbir Kapoor and designer Riddhima Kapoor Sahani.
Neetu Kapoor once recalled how Rishi Kapoor had proposed marriage to her. On a dinner date, Rishi asked Neetu the reason behind signing so many movies and her plans to get married. When Neetu said that she didn’t have a boy to marry,“Rishiji asked, ‘You are signing so many movies, don’t you want to get married?’ He was thinking about it, I had no idea. He had never said that he wanted to get married. We were just dating. So I said, ‘There has to be a boy to get married to. Rishiji said, ‘So who am I?’,” she recalled.
Once they decided to marry, Rishi asked her to wrap up her projectssoon so that they could start a family.
Neetu made her acting comeback with Habib Faisal's film Do Dooni Char with also starred Rishi Kapoor.
