The drama on Asian Cricket Council (ACC) chairman Mohsin Naqvi walking off with the Asia Cup trophy and denying the silverware to India is not going to end very soon. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has already said that the matter will be raised to the ICC in the upcoming meeting. Time is running out for Australia Test skipper Pat Cummins to become match-ready ahead of the upcoming first Test in Ashes against arch-rivals England. The Test is set to start from November 21 in Perth and it'll be a blow to Australia if Cummins doesn't play. Australia coach Andre McDonald, however, seems positive that Cummins will play some part in the series which is considered the most important in Australian and English calendars. In Cummins' absence, Scott Boland can make it the playing XI as has been the case in the past some Tests.<h2>What did Australia coach say about Cummins</h2>"Myself and Patty have spoken about that type of timeframe," McDonald said as reported by the ICC website. "There's some positive signs speaking to Patty over the last few days. He's a lot more optimistic. A couple of weeks ago, did he think he was a chance (to play in Perth)? Even on the global stage, Jaiswal stands out. The next most prolific opener internationally since his debut is England’s Ben Duckett, with just four centuries to his name. Jaiswal joins stalwarts' list By reaching seven Test hundreds at such a young age, Jaiswal joins an elite group of cricketers. The world record for most Test centuries before turning 24 belongs to Don Bradman (12 centuries), followed by Sachin Tendulkar (11) and Garry Sobers (9). Other modern-day greats with seven hundreds by 24 include Javed Miandad, Kane Williamson, and Alastair Cook. Among Indian legends, Jaiswal now shares a list with Sunil Gavaskar and Gautam Gambhir, scoring centuries at Arun Jaitley Stadium, where Gavaskar made three centuries and Gambhir a double hundred. Coming back to the ongoing match at the time of writing, India were in firm control with the scoreboard reading 290/2, and Jaiswal moving past 150 runs.

By breaching the three-figure mark at the national capital, Jaiswal became the second youngest Indian to reach seven Test hundreds, achieving the milestone before turning 24. This puts him ahead of even some of India’s greatest Test batters, including Virat Kohli and Sunil Gavaskar.

India’s Test captain Shubman Gill received a priceless reception on the morning of the opening day of the Delhi Test against the West Indies.
