Nearly a 100 women have come forward to say they suffered complications after undergoing treatment by a US dermatologist — who made rap videos while she operated on her patients.
The videos — which show Dr Windell Boutte rapping and dancing, sometimes along with her staff, while patients lie on her operating table — were uploaded on YouTube.
A lawsuit against Dr Boutte was filed by lawyer Susan Witt on behalf of three women.
But news reports quoted Witt as saying scores of other women had come forward after the newspapers picked up the story.
Many of the women said they could recognise themselves, lying inert in Dr Boutte's surgery, in the YouTube videos.
Dr Boutte continues to practise medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.
The videos of her have been taken down from YouTube.
