Crowd attacks white nationalist rally organizer in Charlottesville
A rally staged by white nationalists in Charlottesville turned violent Saturday when the group clashed for hours with counter-protesters. Later in the day, a sports car rammed into a crowd of counter-protesters, killing the woman and injuring 19 others.
Jason Kessler, the organiser of the "Unite the Right" rally that ended in violence on Saturday in Charlottesville, Virginia, ran away from a botched press conference at 14:00 Sunday after angry protesters descended on him.
The white nationalist was seen fleeing into a police station as the crowd yelled "murderer" and "shame", chasing him into the building.
Several hundred meters away from the police station, a candlelight vigil was held near City Hall to mourn Heather Heyer, a 32-year-old woman, who was killed after a man drove a car into the crowd the day before.

Two hours after Kessler entered the police station, irritate crowds still had not dispersed from the area. White nationalists and counter-protesters continued to argue with one another outside City Hall.
An older man and woman had a particularly heated exchange outside the station. Afterwards, they spoke with reporters.
