Pakistan army rift widening since Asim Munir became chief

The escalating India-Pakistan tensions in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack have put the spotlight on the Pakistani army chief Asim Munir. In great part owing to the notoriously provocative speeches that Munir has made before the terror attack in India's Jammu and Kashmir, analysts point out that the Pakistani army chief's remarks clearly mark him as a religious zealot.
