A fascinating video shot from a hospital in China shows seven suns in the sky. No magic or miracle took place, instead, it is merely an optical illusion. The video has captured the attention of social media users who are awe-struck to see seven suns in the sky. The video was made by a woman who was shooting the setting sun.
However, the camera somehow captured seven suns in the sky. It looks like a miracle in the sky but was actually the result of an optical illusion created by the paned glass window through which it was filmed.
The light refracting through the window’s layered glass created a magical visual. The video was shot from the 11th floor of a hospital in Chengdu, China southwest of Sichuan on August 18.
The video shows the sun shining with different intensity in each duplication. Jam Press reported that the woman who shot the video is named Wang. Her video has captured people's attention and everyone who spots the post can't help but look twice. Several of them even offered theories for the phenomenon.

A person on the Chinese social media platform Weibo suggested that a "glitch" led different universes to present themselves at the same time. "This happened because of a magnetic field glitch that made parallel universes visibly manifest," they wrote.

Another took a lighter route, and said, "The Cosmic Bureau has fixed the issue, and those responsible have been reprimanded."
Yet another person wrote on X, "You’ve all seen ‘Two Suns’ but have you seen ‘Seven Suns’? Filmed in China. I’m starting to think we’ve all been lied to….."
One user named Sarahh, tried to explain how this is a natural phenomenon. She wrote, "The strange sight is a particularly rare form of parhelia, a phenomenon where atmospheric reflection and refraction, off ice crystals, pollution, or other particulates in the atmosphere, can cause 'sun dogs' to appear."
"Even then, normally, one or two sun dogs are visible - the appearance of seven suns is something straight out of Shakespeare, prophecy, or perhaps a Nicolas Cage movie."
