Commuters have been given countless warnings to not use their mobile phones while crossing roads or railway tracks due to thevarious tragic accidents related to suchcases.

However, people still continue to follow this bad habit and create more trouble. Another case of looking at a mobile phone while walking emerged in Buenos Aires where a man narrowly escaped death.

In the video, the commuter is seen walking on the railway track and looking at the mobile phone without realising that the train is coming at a very high speed.

The heart-poundingvideo was shared on social media.

In the video, the commuter continues to see the device while walking through barricades. Moments later, the train grazes into him but he steps back suddenly at the last moment and escapes getting hit.

His phone slips from his hand, and the person falls on the platform.

Here's how social media reacted to the video

The video attracted many comments. While some of the users were shaken, others found the commuter lucky. However, some also criticised the woman behind him for not warning him about the oncoming train.

“The guy survived miraculously, but the lady behind never gave the guy a hint to be cautious. Sad world,” said an Instagram user.

“That’s why you pay attention every day everywhere you go,” commented another user.

“People need to put their phones away when walking or other activities that might require their attention,” wrote a third user.
