No doubt, both Manuand Neeraj and a couple of young and good-looking athletes. So when a video of the two chatting up each other went viral, people went into a tizzy.

Later, Manu Bhaker's mother, Sumedha Bhaker, was also seen talking to Neeraj and this is when it all exploded. Netizens started linking Manu and Bhaker and suggested that her mother was probably talking about a potential match between her daughter and Neeraj.

In the video of Manu and Neeraj, people pointed out that the two look extremely shy around each other and are avoiding making eye contact. People started chattering aboutwhether a romantic connection was on the cards in future. Viral memes about Manu and Neeraj took over the internet and the matter became bigger than anyone could have imagined.

One of the users wrote, "Neeraj Chopra and Manu Bhaker are talking to each other as if they have a crush on each other. I am getting wild ideas on getting India a couple of future super athletes."

The same user wrote how Manuand Neeraj have become a hot topic of discussion among everyone in India. "Overheard a group of aunties discussing Olympics in the metro and forget the sports, medals or the scores, one of them literally said, Neeraj Chopra ko Manu Bhakkar se shaadi krleni chahiye (Neeraj Chopra should marry Manu). Meanwhile, amidst all the noise, Manu Bhaker's father has spoken up on the matter. Talking to Dainik Bhaskar, Ram Kishan Bhaker said that their daughter is too young for marriage and that they are not even thinking about it right now. "Manu is still very young. She is not even of marriageable age. We are not thinking about it right now," Ram Kishan Bhaker said.

Talking about the conversation between Neeraj and Manu's mother, he said, "Manu's mother considers Neeraj like her son."

He admitted that the two families share a familial bond.

Neeraj's family has also reacted to the matter. His uncle said, "Just as Neeraj brought the medal, the entire country got to know about it. Similarly, when he marries, then everyone will know."
