In a shocking incident, a one-year-old infant not only bit a snake but killed it while surviving the poisonous incident.
The incident took place in the Gaya district of the Indian state of Bihar a month after a man had bitten and killed a snake in the same state.
Though the two incidents appear similar, this time it was the act of a one-year-old child that left everyone shocked. As per the reports, the boy was playing on the terrace and took the snake as a plaything when he allegedly bit the reptile.

Although the snake was killed, the boy was also surprisingly out of danger. His mother said that the child caught hold of the snake mistaking it for a toy.

The infant's family took him to a local community health centre after spotting a dead snake close to him.
A video of the incident went viral in which a woman is seen carrying the child, who bit the snake, in her lap while the other person is trying to open his mouth.
A photo of the reptile is also visible in the phone in which part of its body appears to have been crushed after being bitten.
The family was informed by staff at the health centre that the child was perfectly fit after the incident and said that the snakewas non-venomous.
In an earlier incident, an Indian man - identified as Santosh Lohar hailingfrom the state of Bihar - dug his teeth into a snake after it bit him while he was sleeping.

The man, who was a resident of Nawada city, was sleeping at his base camp after completing the entire day's work of placing railway lines when he was attacked by the snake.
The man, who believed in the superstition that biting the snake helps in neutralising the venom, decided to do the same and bit the snake twice.
The 35-year-old man's unconventional response led to the death of the snake, however, he was also admitted to the hospital.
