Paris Olympics: Italian engaged couple congratulated for 'real relationship goals'

The Paris Olympics 2024 saw heartwarming medal wins for two Italian athletes on Wednesday (Jul 31) within a period of 15 minutes. The athletes, who are engaged to each other, were praised by sports fans on social media for having the 'real relationship goal.'
Rossella Fiamingo first won gold in the women's team epee event for Italy before her fiancé Gregorio Paltrinieri became the first Italian swimmer to win a medal at three consecutive Olympics 15 minutes earlier. Paltrinieri won a bronze medal in men's 800m freestyle swimming.
The official X handle of Olympics games also shared the story with a photo of the couple and here's how fans reacted on it.
Italy now has a total of 13 medals with 3 golds, 6 silvers and 4 bronze medals at the ongoing games and are placed eighth on the points table.

Pregnant athlete Nada Hafez's heartfelt post on participating
In another heartwarming story, Nada Hafez, the Egyptian fencer, played seven-month pregnant at the ongoing Paris Olympics 2024.
She beat American Elizabeth Tartakovsky 15-13 in the first round to advance to Round of 16 match and shared the post later.
"My baby & I had our fair share of challenges, be it both physical & emotional. The rollercoaster of pregnancy is tough on its own, but having to fight to keep the balance of life & sports was nothing short of strenuous, however worth it.
I’m writing this post to say that pride fills my being for securing my place in the round of 16! I’m lucky to have shared the trust of my husband @ibrahimihab11 and that of my family to be able to come this far," she wrote on her Instagram.
The fencer, however, lost her round of 16 match 15-7 to South Korean Jeon Hayoung.
