
Mumbai set a target of 214 runs against Bangalore at the Wankhede Stadium on Tuesday, April 17. Virat Kohli won the toss and opted to bowl. They way first over of the game went, it seems Virat has taken the right decision but later, the bowling department failed miserably.
Indian pacer Umesh Yadav gave two major shocks by taking the wicket the of Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan in the first two balls. It looked like Virat-led Bangalore has taken the control over the match but Mumbai's opener Evin Lewis salvaged the innings by playing a 65-run knock off just 42 balls.
Evin Lewis found a determined ally in skipper Rohit Sharma, who smashed magnificent 94 runs off just 52 balls. His knock included 10 fours and five sixes.
Bowlers of Bangalore were looking for wickets but got a major blow when Mumbai got a favourable review on Hardik Pandya's wicket. Pandya had almost lost his wicket at the score of zero but got a successful review and after that, he scored 17 runs off just 5 balls.
