Manika seemed to be India's biggest revelation in Gold Coast as she cruised her way into the third table tennis finale today.

She overcame world number four and a three-time Olympic medallist, Tianwei Feng of Singapore 12-10, 5-11, 11-8, 5-11, 5-11, 11-9, 13-11 in the semi-final round.

It was her second consecutive win against the top seed after scalping victory in the team event as well.

This was her third medal in Gold Coast with silver being the other which she had claimed alongside Mouma Das in women's doubles on Friday.

Batra's gold feat also made her the first Indian woman to bag two gold medals in table tennis at Commonwealth Games.
