The Pakistan Supreme Court has issued notice against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf's former secretary general Jahangir Tareen.
The notice issued seeks their presence in the court, either in person or through their counsel, on Tuesday for a hearing relating to Article 62(1) (f) of the Constitution.
The two leaders were disqualified under the Article 62 (1) (f).
The hearing will confirm the period of punishment of the two leaders.
A five-judge bench in the court is scheduled to hear 17 appeals against disqualification of some members of the parliament.
The disqualification of the leaders in Pakistan gained significance after the former prime minister of Pakistan was disqualified from contesting elections in the country.
His hearing has been pending before the bench for the past one year.
