New Delhi, Delhi, India
Shashi Tharoor made a simple grammatical mistake while tweeting on Monday. He used the word "whom" when he should have used "who".
Delighted to have 20,000 live viewers for my #FacebookLive at lunchtime on New Year's Day! Those whom missed it can view it at leisure on https://t.co/z3MGd0mvtg @facebook

The trouble is, considering the very high standards we hold Tharoor to (as does Tharoor himself), one could say he isn't really allowed to make simple grammatical mistakes.

Suhel Seth was the first to pounce:

And the twitterati -- starting with Adnan Sami -- would not stop after that:

This will go down in history. Someone correcting Tharoorian English is the rarest sight.

Although, to be honest, the jokes cut both ways:
English speakers be like:
Beginner level
Proficient level
Tharoorian level
English teacher be like:
My school teacher
My college professor

Tharoor, as we have come to expect (please refer to line 2), took it well:
Just heard @suhelseth caught it too! All thanks to hasty typing -- should have re-read and deleted but was rushing. Another "hoong hats" moment: Teaches me a lesson to check before pressing "Tweet" https://t.co/sVgh8JI9aF
