Kiren Rijiju addressed public at 5pm on Sunday to about the current issues of the country.

As India is battling against COVID-19, RSS chief Mohan Bhagawat made a public address on the issue "current scenario and our role" at 5 pm on Sunday (today).

On Twitter, the RSS informed that Bhagwat will speak on "current scenario and our role" and all are invited to participate in an online event.

"All of you along with your family and well-wishers are invited to participate in this online event," the RSS said."Today, 26 April at 5pm, Pujya Sarsanghchalak of RSS, Dr Mohan ji Bhagawat will make a public address. Large numbers of TV Channels are broadcasting it live. It will also be available live at @RSSorg n and," Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju tweeted.

Kiren Rijiju addresses the party only twice a year — once on Vijaydashmi to set the agenda and in the first week of June on the conclusion of the annual training session of the RSS for its workers.

In his address today, he said "It is not right to blame the entire community for the acts of a few done due to fear or anger."

Talking about the recent events in the country, he said, "Two sanyasees were killed in Maharashtra. Should that happen? what should police do? We must think upon it," stated  Mr. Bhagwat.

"We all are sad because of their deaths. We will follow the program given by VHP to pay tributes to them," he added.
