Madame Tussauds wax statue in London will now have another addition to its long list of Bollywood celebrities -- and it’s none other than Karan Johar.

The filmmaker known for contributing to the cinema with some iconic romantic films will be honoured as his first film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai completes 20 years. He will be the first Indian filmmaker to have a wax statue at the Madame Tussauds as all others are actors and actresses from the entertainment industry.

The statue will be ready in six months’ time and will head out on a tour across Asia.

He will join the likes of many others from the industry including but not limited to Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan.

Karan, today with Sajid Nadiadwala and David Dhawan also kickstarted a dream project of his father, Yash Johar titled Kalank. The film’s star cast was revealed yesterday and it created a buzz on the social media as it introduces Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit in the same line after 20 years. The Indian movie lovers will get to see the former real-life couple on screen after decades.
