BJP releases the official Gujarat manifesto
Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley released the manifesto earlier today.
The Bharatiya Janata Party released its manifesto for Gujarat assembly elections earlier today.
'Sankalp Patra' was released by Union Finance MinisterArun Jaitely just a day before the first phase of the election.
At the event, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley noted Gujarat to have the highest Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) growth in India. The BJP has been governing the state for close to 22 years now.
"Gujarat's GSDP growth is highest in India. In the last five years, Gujarat grew at an average rate of 10 percent amongst large states," Jaitley noted while unveiling the manifestoin Ahmedabad.

Mr Jaitley went on to target the Opposition, saying that Congress' vision for Gujarat "is based on constitutional impossibility and financial improbability."
The BJP also asserted that the Congress was making false promises in Gujarat.
The minister said: "The BJP aims to ensure unity in the state and work towards the welfare of all groups."
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed rallies in various parts of the state today as a part of his campaigning plan.
PM Modi targeted Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar over 'neech' row and also blamed Congress for failing to do anything for the development of the state.
Gujarat will witness the first phase of voting tomorrow while the second phase of polls is scheduled on December 14.
Gujarat has a total number of 182 assembly seats
Voting in 89 constituencies of Saurashtra and South Gujarat region will be held in the first phase, while the remaining 93 constituencies in Central and northern regions will go to polls in the second phase.
Counting of votes is scheduled on December 18.
