Bihar Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Schedule and Date: The eastern state of Bihar is voting in eight constituencies in the seventh and last phase of the Lok Sabha elections on Saturday (June 1).

The first phase was held in four constituencies on April 19 and the second phase covered five constituencies on Apr 26. The third phase was conducted on May 7 in fiveconstituencies and the fourth phase was held in five constituencies on May 13. In the fifth phase, which was held on May 20 (Monday), voting took place in five constituencies. Eight constituencies of the state were covered in the sixth phase onMay 25 (Saturday).

Bihar is one of the few states that saw voting on all seven phases of the general elections, India's massive exercise in democracy.

When is Bihar Lok Sabha Elections 2024? (Phase and Date)

The 2024 general elections will be held in Bihar in seven phases from April 19 to June 1 to elect 40 members who will be part of the 18th Lok Sabha.

The results will be announced on June 4.

How many phases Bihar will have in Lok Sabha Elections?

The 2024 general election will be held in Bihar in all seven phases. Indian states of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal are the only states where polls will be held in all seven phases.

Bihar Lok Sabha Elections 2019 - A Recap

The 2019 Indian general elections were held in Bihar in seven phases between April 11 and 23. In the elections, BJP won 17 seats, JD(U) won 16 seats, LJP won six seats and INC clinched only one seat.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, whowas one of the founding members of the I.N.D.I.A alliance created a huge chaos months before the Lok Sabha Election 2024. He suddenly snapped ties with RJDand joined hands with NDA again with whom his JDU had fought the last General Elections.

In the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, the NDA and I.N.D.I.A. alliance are going to be the two main coalitions inthe polls. In Bihar, BJP and JDUwill lead the NDA and the I.N.D.I.A. alliance will be led by RJD and INC.
