Actress molestation case: Accused sent to police custody till Dec 13, family cries foul
The accused's wife meanwhile has denied the allegation of molestation
In the latest development in the actress molestation case, the accused was produced before the court on Monday and has been remanded in police custody till December 13.
The accused was arrested yesterday after a huge public outcry over the incident prompting the Maharashtra State Commission for Women to seek an enquiry into the shameful incident.
The accused allegedly molested the actress on a Delhi to Mumbai Vistara flight on Sunday.
The incident came to light after the young star took to Instagram and shared her ordeal, forcing the authorities to inquire into the incident.
Hours after the victim made the allegations, the airline apologised and said they had zero tolerance for such behaviour and assured an inquiry into the matter.
Meanwhile, the wife of the accused denied all the molestation allegations and said her husband's foot was kept on the actress's armrest but not with an intention to harass.
