Thirteen people died and four others were severely injured after a minibus collided with a parked truck on the Pune-Bengaluru Highway in Karnataka on Friday (June 28) morning.
While 11 people died on the spot, two others succumbed to their injuries during treatment at the hospital.

The accident occurred near Gundenahalli crossing in Haveri district at 3.45 am and 17 people were travelling in the minibus.
The victims, residents of Shivamogga, had travelled to the Belagavi district for a pilgrimage and were returning home when the accident occurred.
However, the cause of the accident is not known so far and reports claim that the driver of the minibus fell asleep at the wheel.
