Jurgen Klopp signed off as the Liverpool manager on a winning note on Sunday (May 19) after his side beat Wolves 2-0. After the win, Klopp addressed the Liverpool fans as theyare now setfor a new era under manager Arne Slot.Still yet to be confirmed as the new manager,Slot was welcomed with open arms by Kloppafter he sang for the new manager in his farewell speech at Anfield on Sunday.

"The new manager, I want you to sing his name,"Klopp said. "Arne Slot, na na na na na! When the next season starts, go full throttle into it with the new manager. When you start, you keep believing.Don'tstop believing."

"There has been such a long lead-up to this dayandit was really intense.Ihad my bad moments as wellbut, thank God, not today.I'mjust thankful for what happens. Klopp wasseenemotional after the final match as fans came out in numbers to see their favourite manager take charge for one final time at Anfield. He will go down as one of the most successful managers in thehistory of the clubbut will now take the back seat.

Kloppduringhis nine years as first-teammanagerwon all the major trophies, includinga Champions League and Premier League title. The Premier League title victory in 2020 saw them end their 30-year drought for a league title winwhilethe Champions League title in 2019 was the start of a new glorious period in theclub’shistory.

Klopp bid farewell with only the League Cup win in his final seasonhavingseen his team fall short of winning the Premier League title. His team suffered a horrific exit in the Europa League quarterfinal against Atalanta. The FA Cup campaign also had an anti-climax endhavingsuffered a defeat in the 121st against arch-rivals Manchester United.
