The much-awaited season 4 of Ted Lasso is here (almost). Jason Sudeikis is set to return to our screens this summer, first to entertain the world and secondly to take up one of the biggest challenges yet.
Apple TV's Emmy-winning sports comedy is returning three years after season 3, which was initially written to be the last of the much-acclaimed series. But ultimately, the plans changed, and the show was renewed for season 4 in March 2025.
Ted Lasso season 4: First look out!
Lasso is back to score another goal. On Wednesday (28 Jan), Apple TV+ shared that season 4 of the show is set to debut globally this summer. Not only that, but they also dropped first-look photos and new details about the next chapter of the series.
The new season is currently in production, and apart from Jason as Lasson, the fan favourites, who are returning to play their interesting characters, are: Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Emmy Award winner Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt and Jeremy Swift.
Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern and Grant Feely will be joining the cast.

What's Ted Lasso Season 4 about?
According to the official synopsis, “In season four, Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s football team. Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.”
