The family has never spoken in details about the nature of his illness and all fans have gotten to see are some photos that his wife, Neetu Kapoor has been sharing on Instagram from time to time.
On Tuesday though, filmmaker Rahul Rawail put speculations to rest as he posted on Facebook, 'Rishi Kapoor (Chintu) is cancer free!'. Rawail is a close friend of Kapoor and the director even posted an old photo of the two in his post.
