Rihanna does a desi mashup for Fenty event, wears Sabyasachi Mukherjee and Manish Malhotra designs together

It is a crossover that only Rihanna could pull off. At a recent event for her makeup and hair care brand Fenty, Rihanna wore jewellery by not just one but two Indian designers.

The Barbados singer was spotted an event for her makeup and hair care brand Fenty in Los Angeles, flaunting pieces by not one but two Indian designers- Sabyasachi Mukherjee and Manish Malhotra.

For the event, Rihanna wore a stunning ruby choker by Manish Malhotra and a three-stone necklace by Sabyasachi. She paired the look with a red leather bodycon dress, a matching red leather jacket and sported new blonde hair.

The Sabyasachi necklace is from their High Jewellery collection, made of rubellite, tourmaline and brilliant cut diamond. Manish shared Rihanna's picture and wrote that she was wearing a ‘Ruby Choker, crafted in 18k gold and custom-cut rubies encrusted in diamonds, exuding Indian craftsmanship and artistry.’

Sabyasachi Mukherjee's official Instagram page too shared Rihanna's look and wrote, "Rihanna wears a three drop rubellite, tourmaline and brilliant cut diamond necklace from Sabyasachi High Jewellery for the launch of Fenty Hair in Los Angeles."

Fans of Rihanna and the Indian designers were surprised with the collab. Most fashionistas in India would avoid combining designs of two designersfor an outfit.
