Before heading out with husband Nick Jonas for the Met Gala, Priyanka posted a sweet message for friend Meghan Markle and Prince Harry for the arrival of their newborn son.
Priyanka posted the announcement photo that the official Instagram handle of the royal couple- Sussex Royal- had posted a day earlier declaring that Duchess of Sussex has given birth to a baby boy.
Priyanka posted the same image on her Instagram story and wrote, 'Congratulations M & H'.
Harry and Meghan broke the news of their firstborn's arrival this morning with an Instagram post reading, "It's a boy! Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to announce the birth of their child."

When Meghan's pregnancy was announced in October, Priyanka had reacted to the news while speaking to E! News and said, "I just have a few of my friends who are having babies right now and I'm like, 'God I need to catch up!'" The actress though could not make it to Meghan's baby shower in New York earlier in February due to prior work commitments.
Priyanka who met Meghan due to their charitable work became friends in 2016. The actress even attended Meghan's wedding to Prince Harry at Windsor in 2018.
