The third season of the crime-comedy drama will see Guy Ritchie continuing his role as creator and director. This announcement comes amid the growing rumours of Meghan Markle being part of the third season.

Netflix announces renewal of The Gentlemen season 3

Confirming the announcement, creator and director Guy Ritchie says, “The ambition of The Gentlemen has accelerated, the world has expanded, and the consequences carry weight. A third season felt inevitable, and I’m looking forward to pushing the boundaries of it further.”

The renewal also means viewers will get more of Theo James' Eddie Horniman and Kaya Scodelario's Susie Glass, whose unlikely partnership sits at the heart of the series.

The season 3 renewal comes amid considerable speculation surrounding Meghan Markle. Earlier reports claimed Markle was in advanced discussions for a potential role in the third season. The casting speculation attracted significant attention because it could mark her most substantial scripted acting role since leaving Suits. Reuters previously reported that Meghan had not confirmed the casting and that Netflix and representatives had declined to comment.
