'God said take double!' TV stars Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya welcome twin baby boys

New parents on the block! Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya, one of the well-known couples in the television industry, have welcomed twin baby boys. Sharing the good news with millions of fans, the couple posted a picture featuring the two boys.

Divyanka and Vivek are both ardent social media users and have continuesly shared their pregnancy journey from the day they announced the good news.

New father Vivek shared the good news on his Instagram account. Sharing the picture featuring two babies wearing blue outfits and the text reading, "We asked for happiness… God said, ‘Take double.’ Blessed with twin baby boys.”

In the caption, the actor wrote that the wait is finally over as he jokingly added "Mere Karan Arjun agae," a famous dialogue from the 1995 movie starring Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.

The couple have become parents after 10 years of marriage. They announced the good news in March with a bunch of adorable photos on their Instagram.

Speaking about the pregnancy, Divyanka told Vickey Lalwani, “The baby is due in mid-June. Vivek and I wanted a baby only now; we tried, and it happened. We are blessed. Our parents are ecstatic. I first broke the news to Vivek, and then we informed our parents almost immediately. We don’t have any preference, whether it’s a boy or a girl. And yes, I must say that we managed to hide it for six full months.”

The couple first met on the set of the popular television show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. After dating for a few years, the couple tied the knot in July 2016 in Bhopal, India.
