Deepika Padukone and her husband Ranveer Singh are now parents to two girls. The couple, who started dating around 2012-2013 after working together in Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, has come a long way in their lives.
Deepika Padukone is a mom of two! The actress and her husband, Ranveer Singh, have welcomed their second child. A day after the star couple stepped out to seek blessings at Mumbai's revered Sidhivinayak temple, the actress gave birth to her second daughter. More details are awaited.
The family of three announced the arrival of their little angel on Instagram. Sharing a picture of her tiny footprint, they wrote, "Welcome baby girl, 19.09.2026. - Dua, Deepika & Ranveer"
Soon after the couple shared the good news, wishes started pouring in.

Deepika and Ranveer's Siddhivinayak visit
A day before the baby's arrival, the couple sought blessings at Mumbai's Siddhivinayak Temple. They followed the same tradition they did when they welcomed their first child in 2024, visiting the temple just a day before the delivery. The couple were accompanied by Ranveer's parents. Flaunting her baby bump, the actress was dressed in a traditional attire, comprising of orange and purple kurta, while the Dhurandhar actor wore a purple kurta paired with white trousers.

The star couple is also parents to daughter Dua, who turned 2 this year. Meanwhile, September has proven to be extra special for Deepika and Ranveer, as it is the birth month of both their children. Celebrating the second birthday of their baby Dua, the couple shared a bunch of happy photos from their maternity shoot, featuring their daughter.
Deepika has been in her mom-era and is enjoying it to the fullest. Speaking about motherhood at the WAVES 2025 summit, the actress stated, “I'm discovering this new life post-embracing motherhood. The minute you've had a child, you're now responsible for another human being, and especially in the way I've led my life, it's been so much about me - leaving home, my ambition, my career, and everything has been about my life and everything that I wanted for myself. And now, suddenly, you're caring for this person who is dependent on you for everything.”

In April, the Padmavat actors announced that they are expecting their second child. They shared a joint Instagram post of their daughter, Dua, holding a pregnancy test kit, which indicated a positive result.
Ranveer and Deepika started dating around 2012-2013 after they worked on Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela. After years of dating, they got married in November 2018 in Italy.
