The batter has been out since injuring his ankle in T20I series against South Africa in December last year. He was initially set to be out for seven weeks but a hernia operation after ankle injury delayed his return.
The batter, however, has now been cleared to play by the National Cricket Academy (NCA). The news was also confirmed by a Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) source to the news outlet Indian Express.
