
India beat Sri Lanka by seven wickets via Duckworth Lewis System (DLS) in the second T20I on Sunday (Jul 28) to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
Chasing a target of 162, rain hit India's innings three bowls after the start and six runs on board. The target was revised to 78 overs in 8 overs after the rain delay which India chased down in 6.3 overs.

The chase, however, hit a hiccup as Sanju Samson, who came in place for an ill Shubman Gill, got out for golden duck in the second over.
Skipper Suryakumar and Yashasvi Jaiswal then added 39 runs in the next 3.1 overs took take India past 50. Matheesha Pathirana then dismissed Surya to give SL a chance.
Hardik Pandya, however, had other plans as he blazed his way to an unbeaten 9-ball 22 to take India home.
Earlier, India won the toss and put Sri Lanka to bat first. The decision seemed to work after Arshdeep Singh removed Kusal Mendis in the fourth over for a team score of 26.
Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Perera then added 54 runs in the next six overs before Ravi Bishnoi broke the partnership with the wicket of Nissanka.
Sri Lanka were set for a big flourish in the last five overs after being at 130/2 in 15 overs. Hardik Pandya then broke the 50-run partnership with the wicket of Kamindu Mendis (26 off 23) on the first ball of the 16th over.
Pandya then dismissed Perera (53 off 34) on the last ball of the same over to bring India back in the game. Sri Lanka could not recover from the double blow and eventually managed 161/9 in 20 overs.
For India, Bishnoi was the pick of the bowlers with 3/26 while Arshdeep and Axar also took two wickets each apart from Hardik.
