
Indian PM Narendra Modi on Tuesday received Russia'shighest order of chivalry in Moscow which was presented to him by Russian PresidentVladimir Putin.The 'Order of St Andrew the Apostle' was established by Tsar Peter the Great in 1698 in honour of Saint Andrew. During bilateral talks, PM Modi didn't shy away from mentioning the Ukraine war in his address and told Putin that war was not a solution. The Indian PM also highlighted how it gave him "immense pain" when innocent children were murdered.Modi added that India was willing to cooperate with all stakeholders to restore peace in the region.
