Kamala Harris has taken a page out of her political rival Donald Trump's book and has invited him to disclose his health report. Harris, the Democratic Party presidential candidate who at 59 years old is much younger than the 78-year-old Republican Party presidential candidate Trump. On Saturday, she challenged the ex-president to publish his health records.
This comes after she published her medical report.
Harris slams Trump's 'lack of transparency'
Soon after her health report was published, speaking to reporters, the US Vice President slammed Trump, labelling his unwillingness to publish his health records "a further example of his lack of transparency."

"It's obvious that his team, at least, does not want the American people to see everything about who he is... and whether or not he is actually fit to do the job of being President of the United States," she remarked.
Previously, when Biden was the presumptive Democratic Party nominee, Trump and his campaign repeatedly drew parallels between the two men's slight age difference, with Trump being the younger candidate. Now, the Harris campaign is eager to highlight the former president's age since he became the oldest candidate in the race.
Trump campaign hits back
While it did not publish the 78-year-old's most recent health reports, the Trump campaign hitting back at Harris claimed that the septuagenarian was also "in perfect and excellent health to be Commander in Chief". It further charged that Harris lacked the strength to lead the country.

Harris fit to 'execute the duties of the presidency'
In the health report published by the White House the same day, Harris' physician Joshua Simmons wrote: "Vice President Harris remains in excellent health".
Calling her most recent physical exam "unremarkable" the physician said that Kamala Harris "possesses the physical and mental resiliency required to successfully execute the duties of the presidency."
