<p>In a video clip going viral on social media, the pair can be seen greeting each other and later taking part in the inspection of the guard outside Windsor Castle. Biden seemingly walked in front of the monarch, a breach of protocol, repeating the mistake of his predecessor Donald Trump when the Republican leader meted the same treatment to the late Queen Elizabeth II.&nbsp;</p>

<p>At the end of the line, Biden stopped and started speaking to a guard.&nbsp;The conversation went at length and a visibly agitated King Charles III could be seen trying to lead Biden away from the guard. During the incident, Charles appeared to direct his anger at the guard before walking away.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Despite the king's insistence, Biden continued speaking to the guard. It was only after a few moments that Biden looked back and forth between the monarch and the guard and decided to follow the king, away from the lineup of soldiers.&nbsp;</p>

<p>After whisking the president away, Charles put his hand behind Biden's back. A few moments later, Biden also put his hand behind the king, sparking speculations that it was a breach of the protocols. However, a Buckingham Palace source told <em>People </em>that Biden did not break any protocol as the monarch was "entirely comfortable" with the encounter.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The bridge was last spotted on the site on June 6; however, the FIR was only filed on June 26 following the revelation of the theft. The FIR report mentioned that the value of the stolen bridge is more than INR 200,000 ($2,420).&nbsp;</p>

<p>As soon as the FIR was filed, authorities initiated an investigation to find the culprits. What made the case trickier was the fact that no CCTV camera was installed in the area where the bridge was placed to be carted away later. When police checked CCTV footage from nearby areas, they spotted a big truck going towards the Malad Back Road on June 11.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Further investigation led the police to track down the truck on the basis of its registration number and revealed that it was carrying gas-cutter machines, which were most likely used to dismantle the iron bridge.&nbsp;<br />

Shockingly, one person out of the four arrested turned out to be a worker of the same company which was hired by Adani Electricity to build the bridge.</p>

'Warren Wooffett': Dog defeats ChatGPT in contest to select profitable shares

<p>A 17-year-old Canadian has been brought for questioning by Japanese authorities after it was discovered he carved his name into an eighth-century UNESCO-listed temple in the historic city of Nara.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The incident took place in the 1,200-year-old Toshodaiji Kondo temple complex on the afternoon of July 7.&nbsp;</p>

<p>''On the southwest side of Toshodaiji Kondo, there are wooden pillars supporting the roof. On the pillars to the side, the boy carved ‘Julian' on a wooden pillar about 170 centimetres above the ground with his nail,'' a police official was quoted as saying by CNN.</p>

<p>The teenager defaced the pillar, situated in the temple's "Golden Hall" which is a designated national treasure. His parents were with him when he vandalised the ancient property, writing the word "Julian" by scratching the pillar.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A tourist saw the teen defacing the pillar and told him to stop before notifying the temple employees. A monk at the temple said, "even though it [vandalism] may have been done without malice, it is still regrettable and sad".</p>

<p>Under Japanese law, any person found damaging an object of "important cultural property" could face up to five years in prison or a fine of $2,120 (¥300,000; £1,650).</p>

<p>The temple is one of the eight sites that make up the historic monuments of ancient Nara which was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“Buddhist temples, Shinto shrines and the excavated remains of the great Imperial Palace provide a vivid picture of life in the Japanese capital in the 8th century, a period of profound political and cultural change,” reads the UNESCO inscription.</p>

His parents were with him when he vandalised the ancient property, writing the word "Julian" by scratching the pillar. <p>Online casino PlayStar conducted a survey of 1,306 participants, split equally between males and females, to explore their propensity for lying in different settings.</p>

<p>As per a report in New York Post, the results revealed that millennials, or those born between 1981 and 1996, were the worst offenders, with 13 per cent admitting to being dishonest at least once a day.</p>

<p>The survey did delve into the specific areas where lies are most prevalent. Nearly one-third of millennials admitted to lying on their resumes this year and the workplace was identified as the hub of deceit. Almost 40 per cent of millennials confessed to lying to their boss in order to avoid embarrassment.</p>

<p>Furthermore, 23 per cent of millennials and 21 per cent of Gen Z individuals admitted to lying on social media to impress others.</p>

<h2><strong>What pushes millennials to lie?</strong></h2>

<p>The focus on money, image, and fame among millennials might explain their higher propensity for lying, as indicated by a 2012 study published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.</p>

<p>Overall, the survey highlighted that the majority of people struggle to identify when someone is lying, with 97 per cent of participants performing poorly in lie detection.</p>

<p>However, the survey also revealed that lies are not always malicious, with 58 per cent of respondents admitting to telling untruths only to avoid embarrassment and 42 per cent doing so to protect their privacy. Additionally, a significant portion — 42 per cent — confessed to lying to shield someone from reprimand or punishment. So, all in all, it's not all that bad.</p>

<p>A few Glendale police officers in the US state of Arizona found themselves caught up in a thrilling pursuit last Saturday. It all started when the authorities, over the weekend, received a distress call about two runaway goats spotted in the vicinity of 80th and Glendale avenues.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The situation not only posed a danger to motorists but also put the mischievous goats at risk, according to the police officials.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“This was not only a hazard to those commuting on the road but to the goats themselves,” Glendale police said.</p>

<p>However, undeterred by the goat's cunning tactics, an officer sprang into action, sprinting after the agile animal down the street.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Filled with exhilaration, the officer couldn't contain his excitement, cheering, "Let's go! That's how we do it! That's how we do it, boys!"</p>

<p>Meanwhile, the second goat led another officer on a different adventure, as seen by their body camera footage.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The rebellious goat opted for an open field as its playground. Fortunately, this goat didn't put up much resistance, making the chase somewhat more manageable.&nbsp;</p>

<p>One of the organisers who wished to remain anonymous said&nbsp;driverless cars pose many risks to safety and the environment but are being sold as a strong alternative to vehicles driven by people.&nbsp;Their emergence also has had a negative effect on the public transport system, the group argues.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to experts, the marble piece is believed to be part of a statue of a female divinity, perhaps Aphrodite due to its&nbsp;natural dimensions. The head is carved in Greek marble and displays elegant workmanship. The hair on the marble head is seemingly gathered at the back thanks to a "taenia", a ribbon knotted on the top of the head.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to the Sovrintendenza Capitolina (Capitoline Superintendence), responsible for managing, maintaining and enhancing the capital's&nbsp;historic and archaeological heritage, the marble head was&nbsp;discovered during the redevelopment work of the "Mausoleum of Augustus and Piazza Augusto Imperatore" on the eastern side.</p>

<p>The Mausoleum of Augustus is a tomb built by&nbsp;Roman Emperor Augustus in 28 BC following his victory at the Battle of Actium. The structure is circular in plan and measures 90 metres in diameter by 42 metres in height, originally capped by a conical roof with a huge bronze statue of Augustus.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"The find was found in the foundation of a late antique wall but is preserved intact; reused as building material it lay face down, protected by a clay bank on which the foundation of the wall rests," read a statement released.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The workers found the head lying face down and protected by a clay bank on which the foundation of the wall rests.</p>

<p>Notably, reusing the sculptures, even of significant value was a common practice in the late Middle Ages which allowed, as in this case, "the successful preservation of important works of art".</p>

<p>"The head is currently entrusted to restorers for cleaning, and to archaeologists for correct identification and an initial dating proposal, which appears to be anchored in the Augustan era,” concluded the Superintendent.</p>

<p>The very last known pair of Rembrandt protraits in private collection were auctioned for more than GBP 11 million (USD 14 million) at Christie's in London on Thursday (July 6). The auction took place nearly 200 years after the portraits first went under hammer at the auction house.</p>

<p>The paintings are thought to date from 1635. It was expected that they would fetch a price between GBP 5 million and GBP 8 million. The paintings were part of Christie's 'Old Masters" sale.</p>

<p>However, the final price was GBP 11,235,000, said Chirstie's in a statement.</p>

<p>The paintings, 20 centimetre high (eight-inch) are oval portraits depicting an elderly plumber named Jan Willemsz van der Pluym and his wife Jaapgen Carels.</p>

<p>The couple has been painted in an unusal intimate style for Rembrandt. The couple was friends of the artist's family and hailed from Leiden in the Netherlands. Leiden is Rembrandt's hometown.</p>

<p>Henry Pettifer, international deputy chairman of Old Master Paintings at Christie's, told AFP in Amsterdam last month that he was "stopped in his tracks" when he first saw the portraits.</p>

<p>"I was really staggered to discover that the pictures had never really been researched and never been addressed in any of the literature on Rembrandt over the course of 200 years."</p>

<p>The paintings were bought by ancestors of the current owners at an auction at Christie's 1824. During that auction, the paintings were listed as Rembrandts. The paintings have remained in the same collection ever since.</p>

<p>"They've been sitting quietly and enjoyed by the owner's family over the course of two centuries... rather casually enjoying them very much," said Pettifer.</p>

<p>After spotting them, "forensic" work began on verifying that they were genuine Rembrandts, including scientific analysis by art experts from Amsterdam's Rijksmuseum.</p>

<p>The paintings are the smallest known portraits by the 17th century Dutch master, who was better known for much larger works commissioned by wealthy families.</p>

<p>In a new development, a lot of UFO sleuths, who are believing their alien story, have started jumping walls and entering their backyard, in the hope to catch sight of the extra-terrestrial giants. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Attorney Sam Heidari, who has been hired by the family to sue any intruders, stated that people have taken extreme steps of climbing the walls and flying drones over the house.</p>

<p>"They don't have any aliens in the storage or anywhere, so don't try to climb up the walls or send a drone," said Attorney Heidari, while speaking to 8 News Now.&nbsp;</p>

<p>He further warned that intruders are taking the risk of approaching the house, which he called a gun-wielding household, adding, "There is a possibility of injury if they get in because this family is armed."&nbsp;</p>

The school management and parents of around 12 students talked the matter out. The school then decided to terminate the services of the teacher immediately,” Additional DCP (Noida) Shakti Mohan Avasthy said.</p>

<p>According to the police, the teacher was disciplinary in-charge of the school and had been asking the students to get their hair trimmed for several days, but in vain. She later cut their hair to discipline them.&nbsp;</p>

In March last year, a similar incident was reported from a school in Uttar Pradesh’s Hapur where the principal gave a haircut to 84 students with long hair from Class 9 to 12 during the morning assembly.&nbsp;</p>

When police officials decided to halt the vehicle, Heather quickly accelerated, evading the police and initiating a chase that ultimately came to a halt on St Marks Road.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The usually glitzy and shiny Las Vegas lit up in an unusual style on Tuesday night when a 366-foot-tall orb situated in the heart of the city, was switched on for the first time. Developed at a cost of $2 billion by Sphere Entertainment, the orb was made by using 1.2 million LEDs that were lit up simultaneously.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Although the sphere is yet to open officially, it will continue to light up on the outside, the sphere’s parent company, MSG Entertainment informed. Pop band U2 will kick off proceedings with the very first show at&nbsp;the venue this September.&nbsp;</p>

<p>With Formula 1 coming to the Las Vegas strip for the first time, the sphere is expected to be one of the biggest crowd-pullers. According to reports, during the Grand Prix in November, the Exosphere will feature race-related content, activations, and advertising.</p>

<p>To develop the Exosphere, Sphere Studios partnered with&nbsp;Montreal-based SACO Technologies, to design and manufacture the unique LED display.&nbsp;7thSense, a creative software and technology company specialising in high-profile media-based attractions was roped in to deliver the Exosphere's programming.&nbsp;</p>

Developed at a cost of $2 billion by Sphere Entertainment, the orb was made by using 1.2 million LEDs that were lit up simultaneously. The sphere was illuminated to celebrate the Amerian day of Freedom, the Fourth of July. During the show, the 580,000 square foot fully-programmable LED exterior – the largest LED screen on earth shone in its full glory. It displayed a welcome "Hello World" message followed by fireworks and stars-and-stripes animation. As the show continued, the LED canvas showed underwater scenes as well as highly-detailed lunar surfaces, which instantly went viral on social media platforms.
