In an unusual scene, a Serene Air pilot was captured cleaning the windscreen of a flight in Pakistan just before the take-off in a video.

Thevideo of the pilotcleaning the window was posted on social media platform X after which it went viral in no time.

In the footage, the Serene Air pilot was seen leaning out of the side of the plane to clear his view.

According to media reports, the incident took place on an Airbus A330-200 which operates international flights between Pakistan and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Although some people argued that it is a common practice among pilots, others found his actions hilarious.

The video was recorded by one of the few passengers who were waiting for the flight to take off.

In the footage, some of the passengers were also heard making fun of the pilot. "Poor pilot is cleaning the window. He can also clean my car, God will bless him," a man was heard in the video clip.

On September 2, the video was shared on social media. After getting posted, it received more than 900,000views.

"Quite common. If pilots wish to do it, its OK. They can always ask help but someone wishes to do it should be fine," wrote a user.

"Hilarious. This could happen only in Pakistan," commented another X user Vinay Patel.

"What the hell is this? Seriously?!" said X user Divya.

"It's very common, and it's not derogatory to clean the glass of your vehicle. We all do it," a fourth user said.

"Pakistan being Pakistan," another user commented on the video.

"Frankly, Pilots do this. Not everyone, sometimes those who are not satisfied by windscreen cleaning," wrote a user. "Pilots clean all the time," argued another user.

“He (the pilot) is doing overtime,” said another user added, “Thank goodness they’re not doing it in the sky, given their level of incompetence.”
