Alaska, United States
In a scary "Titanic moment", a Carnival cruise ship escaped undamaged after grazing a piece of ice in Tracy Arm Fjord of Alaska last week.
The moment was dramatically compared to the “Titanic moment" in modern times.
The crew assessed the hull of the Carnival Spirit and no damages were discovered after the incident took place on Thursday (Sep 5), wrote Carnival Cruise Line in a statement to The New York Post.
After the encounter with the piece of ice, the ship was able to go ahead on its seven-day journey without any hitch and should dock in Seattle, Washington on Tuesday (Sep10).
