The new Samsung products will go on sale from July 24, 2024 onwards
South Korean tech giant Samsung has launched seven new products at its Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event in Paris. The new lineup includes a smart ring, two new foldable phones, two smartwatches, and two new pairs of wireless earbuds.
Let's go through these products in detail:
Galaxy Ring: A smart ring
Samsung's much-awaited smart ring, the Galaxy Ring, is finally here. The ring comes in a small transparent case that doubles up as a charger. We like its stylish and minimalist design.
According to Samsung, the Titanium Grade 5 finish makes it durable. The Galaxy Ring weighs just 3 grammes, which means it's comfortable to wear the ring even for a long period. It's available in three colours — black, silver, and gold. The ring comes in nine different sizes so that you get the right fit for yourself.
As Samsung claims, it can enable people to live a better life. For instance, its AI algorithm helps you understand your sleep patterns and build better habits. It also helps you stay informed about the health of your heart. The Galaxy Ring can help women predict menstrual cycles based on overnight skin temperature. A fully charged ring can last for up to seven days.
The Galaxy Ring will go on sale in select markets from July 24. There is no word yet on when the Galaxy Ring will be available in India.
The Galaxy Ring costs $399. The price for the Indian market remains undisclosed.
Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6: New foldable phones
Along with the Galaxy Ring, Samsung has also introduced the next-generation foldable devices, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6. The phones have become lighter and slimmer than their predecessors. The latest Samsung foldable smartphones are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, making them durable. Both the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 are equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, the most advanced Snapdragon mobile processor yet. Cameras have also been upgraded. In terms of hardware, both phones have seen incremental upgrades. We think, more could have been done in the hardware department.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is priced at ₹1,09,999 onwards. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 costs ₹1,64,999 onwards.
Galaxy Watch Ultra and Watch 7: Smartwatches reimagined
The South Korean giant has launched two new smartwatches - the Galaxy Watch Ultra and the Watch 7. The Watch Ultra has an attractive and durable design. The Ultra model is said to withstand hard outdoor conditions. For instance, it can operate at a wider range of altitudes, from 500 metres below sea level to 9,000 metres high. With a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, the Galaxy Watch Ultra also ensures readability even in bright sunlight. The Watch Ultra has the longest battery life within the Galaxy Watch lineup.
The Galaxy Watch 7, on the other hand, is designed to maximise everyday wellness. It helps track workouts and monitor heart rate. It also offers a proactive tool to check potential signs of sleep apnea.
Both watches will be available to buy from July 24.
The Watch 7 is priced at ₹29,999 onwards. The Galaxy Watch Ultra carries a price tag of ₹59,999.
Galaxy Buds 3 series: Wireless earbuds with intelligent sound experience
The Galaxy Buds 3 series comes in two variants, the Buds 3 and the Buds 3 Pro. Both models feature a modern design and offer a great listening experience. The adaptive noise cancellation and voice and siren detection features add to the audio experience. So, attending calls in noisy environments will not be a problem with them. As one would expect, the Pro model comes with more advanced hardware in comparison to the Galaxy Buds 3.
Both models will go on sale from July 24.
The Galaxy Buds 3 costs ₹14,999. The Buds 3 Pro is priced at ₹19,999.
