Chelsea sacked manager Thomas Tuchel earlier this week after their shock defeat against Dinamo Zagreb in the UEFA Champios League. Tuchel had joined Chelsea from Paris Saint-Germain in 2021 and guided the club to a memorable Champions League triumph in the same season.&nbsp;

He also won the FA Cup and the UEFA Super Cup with Chelsea but was not spared by the new ownership at the club after the poor start to the ongoing season. Chelsea are currently at the sixth spot on the Premier League table after six games this season and lost their opening game in the Champions League.

Many believe it was a harsh decision from Chelsea owner Todd Boehly to sack Tuchel as the manager despite his credentials and his previous record. Christian Heidel, the sporting director of German club Mainz has now&nbsp;slammed Boehly stating that the American businessman has no idea about football.

Heidel worked with Tuchel during his first stint with Mainz and knows the German manager well. The Mainz sporting director lashed out at Boehly and said Chelsea will regret this season as they won't get a good coach quickly.

"The sacking is grist to the mill of those who are against investors in football. It was purely an investor’s decision," he told German outlet BILD.

"Someone who has no idea about football probably thought that sixth place wasn’t good enough for him and said: ‘Then let’s try another coach.’ After only six games, I can’t think of any other reason. But Chelsea will bitterly regret this decision – they won’t get such a good coach again so quickly," he added.

As per reports, Tuchel's indifferences with Boehly over signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United played a role in his sacking. Boehly reportedly was keen on bringing Ronaldo to Stamford Bridge but Tuchel turned down the proposal as he didn't want the 37-year-old in his squad.

Chelsea are after Brighton manager Graham Potter to replace Tuchel at Stamford Bridge and have reportedly already agrees terms with the highly-rated English football coach to take over at the London club.

Chelsea sacked Thomas Tuchel as the manager of the club on Wednesday following their shock 1-0 defeat against Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League. It was an abysmal performance from Chelsea, who have not had the best of starts to the season and are currently sitting at the sixth spot on the Premier League table with three wins in six matches so far.

Former Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno recently offered fans some insight into the controversial circumstances under which his move to Fulham came about. 'Not about performance'- Bernd Leno offers update on Arsenal exit, claims politics played a major role

Although the Premier League season is currently in its early stages, fans and pundits have been handed a shocking update with respect to Chelsea FC. The baby-faced ownership of the club has decided to cut Thomas Tuchel's future at Stamford Bridge short by parting ways with the German with immediate effect.

Reports suggest that the highly-decorated manager was informed of the decision on a day before it was made public. Anthony Barry is reported to temporarily lead the team.

Rumours floating around London at the moment suggest that Tuchel would have had to face the axe regardless of the result against Dinamo Zagreb in the UEFA Champions League as the new owners,&nbsp;Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital did not believe Tuchel was the best man for the job.&nbsp;

Although Chelsea's latest loss against Zagreb may not have been the catalyst behind his dismissal, it is essential to note that it underlined the recent struggles that the club have faced under Tuchel's leadership.

Chelsea have suffered two losses over the course of their first six games in the Premier League. It is essential to note that Chelsea have been one of the biggest spenders in the league, parting ways with nearly&nbsp;$300 million to acquire some of the biggest names in the circuit.

Chelsea sack manager Thomas Tuchel in the immediate aftermath of Champions League loss against Dinamo Zagreb

It might be time for Liverpool to start worrying about its slow start to the English Premier League. Jurgen Klopp's team dropped points for the fourth time in six games after an eventful 0-0 draw at Everton in the Merseyside derby on Saturday, with Mohamed Salah hitting the post in the 95th minute.

Chelsea has VAR to thank for not being in a similar position. Thomas Tuchel's team, having lost two of their previous three games, held on for a 2-1 victory over West Ham at Stamford Bridge after the visitors had an injury-time equalizer overturned in what Hammers manager David Moyes called a 'scandalous&nbsp;and rotten'&nbsp;decision.

Chelsea already has two losses and a draw in the opening six games, while Liverpool has three draws and one loss, having needed a goal in the eighth minute of injury time to beat Newcastle in midweek.

"It's not the start we wanted,"&nbsp;Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said. "It's not a dream, it's exactly 50% of the points available. But that's the points we got, and let's go from here. If we go through these really hard moments together we have a good chance to create better moments in the future."

Tottenham's start to the league has been more impressive, and Antonio Conte's team remained unbeaten after beating Fulham 2-1 at home in another London derby, with Harry Kane scoring his fifth goal of the season to take sole possession of third place in the Premier League's list of all-time top scorers.

In the highest-scoring game of the day, Ivan Toney had a hat trick for Brentford in a 5-2 win over Leeds, whose American manager Jesse Marsch was sent off in the second half for protesting a refereeing decision.

Bournemouth,&nbsp;still without a manager after Scott Parker was fired this week, came from 2-0 down in the second half to earn a 3-2 away win at Nottingham Forest in a game between promoted sides, while Wolverhampton earned its first victory of the season by beating Southampton 1-0.

Newcastle missed a host of chances as it was held at home by Crystal Palace to 0-0. Manchester City played at Aston Villa late, while leader Arsenal was traveling to Manchester United on Sunday.

GOALKEEPERS SHINE

Perhaps the only two players to be happy with the 0-0 draw at Goodison Park were the goalkeepers. Everton's Jordan Pickford and Liverpool's Alisson pulled off stellar saves while Liverpool also had three shots hit the woodwork.

That included Salah's shot in injury time which brushed the fingertips of Pickford before slamming against the near post. Everton also hit the post once in the first half while Alisson's best save came in the 85th when he was at full stretch to push Dwight McNeil's deflected shot over the bar.

Everton thought it scored in the 69th when former Liverpool player Conor Coady turned in a low cross-shot from Neal Maupay at the far post, but it was disallowed for offside after a VAR review.

MOYES FURIOUS

Moyes didn't hide his anger with the decision to rule out West Ham's equalizer at Stamford Bridge. "It's a scandalous decision," the Scottish manager said. "Absolutely rotten decision."

Maxwel Cornet hammered the ball into an open net after Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy managed to only push the ball into his path, but referee Andy Madley ruled it out after a review. He judged Jarrod Bowen fouled Mendy when attempting to jump over him.

The decision bailed out Chelsea after an underwhelming performance that once again highlighted the team's lack of firepower up front.

With new signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang watching in the stands, Chelsea didn't produce a single shot on target by the time Michail Antonio put West Ham ahead following a corner in the 63rd minute.

But defender Ben Chilwell equalized from a tight angle then teed up Kai Havertz to side-foot home in the 88th. Tuchel gave the United States international Cristian Pulisic his first start of the season alongside Raheem Sterling in attack but he was taken off after an hour.

This raised doubts as to why the Parc des Princes-based outfit were so keen on parting ways with the Brazilian talent, who has admittedly enjoyed an extremely successful run so far this season.

Reports discussing the matter suggest that the main reason behind PSG's reluctance to continue their business with Neymar was the bad blood that was seemingly brewing between him and the club's cornerstone, Kylian Mbappe.

Cristiano Ronaldo's UCL dreams dashed as AC Milan reject Chelsea's offer for Rafael Leao: Reports

Erling Haaland hit a second successive hat-trick as&nbsp;Manchester&nbsp;City&nbsp;crushed Nottingham Forest 6-0, while leaders Arsenal extended their perfect start to the Premier League season with a 2-1 win against Aston Villa on Wednesday. City&nbsp;and Arsenal have set the early pace, but Liverpool are gathering momentum after snatching a last-gasp 2-1 victory against Newcastle. Haaland has made a blistering start since his £50 million ($58 million) move from Borussia Dortmund in the close-season and the Norway striker's latest goal spree set a Premier League record.

Haaland's tally of nine goals after his first five appearances is a new high in the Premier League era, beating the previous mark of eight set by&nbsp;City&nbsp;great Sergio Aguero and&nbsp;Micky Quinn. Inspired by Haaland's first-half treble, Pep Guardiola's unbeaten side ran riot at the Etihad Stadium, reaching 19 goals from just five games.

"I know he's happy scoring goals, but I think what he wants is to win. The records are OK, but I'm pretty sure he would not like it if we did not win," Guardiola said of Haaland. "He is a special talent. He smells the box like no one else, his first touch of the game is a goal. That's Erling."

City&nbsp;went ahead in the 12th minute when Phil Foden's cross reached Haaland, who poked home from close range. Haaland, whose father Alfie played for Forest between 1993 and 1997, struck again from close range in the 23rd minute and sealed his treble eight minutes later with a header from virtually on the goal-line.

Even with Kevin De Bruyne starting on the bench, the champions were unstoppable and Joao Cancelo curled into the top corner from 20 yards in the 50th minute. Argentine forward Julian Alvarez celebrated his first Premier League start following his move from River Plate with a brace to seal&nbsp;City's biggest win since a 7-0 rout of Leeds in December.

<h2>- Perfect Arsenal -</h2>

City&nbsp;are two points behind Arsenal after Mikel Arteta's side once again showed a tenacity so often missing from Gunners teams in recent seasons. Arsenal struck in the 30th minute thanks to a gift from their former keeper Emiliano Martinez, who pushed a tame Gabriel Martinelli cross straight to Gabriel Jesus for a simple finish.

Second-bottom Villa were level when Douglas Luiz's corner flew straight past Arsenal keeper Aaron Ramsdale in the 74th minute despite the hosts' appeal for a foul. But Arsenal, who came from behind to beat Fulham on Saturday, responded impressively as Martinelli restored their lead three minutes later from Bukayo Saka's cross.

"The first half was probably one of the best we have played, then we conceded a goal and it's game on. But the team again reacted incredibly well," Arteta said. Villa boss Steven Gerrard, jeered off after losing at home to West Ham on Sunday, will come under renewed pressure following his side's fourth defeat in five games this season.

Asked if he worried about his future, Gerrard said: "Of course I do. I am really honest and critical of myself." At Anfield, Liverpool left it late to secure a second win this season as Fabio Carvalho's 98th-minute goal saw off Newcastle. Away striker Alexander Isak rocked Liverpool in the 38th minute of his debut following his £60 million move from Real Sociedad, netting with a composed finish from Sean Longstaff's pass. But, building on the momentum from Saturday's 9-0 rout of Bournemouth -- which equalled the record for the Premier League's biggest win -- Liverpool equalised when Roberto Firmino slotted in Mohamed Salah's 61st-minute pass.

And, well past the original five minutes of stoppage time, Carvalho -- a day after his 20th birthday -- fired home to spark wild celebrations. "The perfect moment to win because it was a difficult game. What a wonderful goal from the birthday kid. It's massive. We will remember it for years," Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp said.

Third-placed Tottenham had to settle for a 1-1 draw at West Ham, with an own goal from Hammers defender Thilo Kehrer cancelled out by Tomas Soucek's leveller. ,Managerless Bournemouth drew 0-0 with Wolves at Dean Court in their first game following Scott Parker's sacking after the humiliation at Liverpool.

Argentine forward Julian Alvarez celebrated his first Premier League start following his move from River Plate with a brace to seal City's biggest win since a 7-0 rout of Leeds in December. ALSO READ | Manchester United agree deal to sign highly-rated Brazilian winger Antony from Ajax - Perfect Arsenal - City are two points behind Arsenal after Mikel Arteta's side once again showed a tenacity so often missing from Gunners teams in recent seasons.

With the transfer mill running rampant as the deadline for the window approaches, Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea have confirmed a swap deal with Barcelona worth&nbsp;£10M, bringing on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in exchange for Marcos Alonso.

Although Auba will be making his way back to London, he will be sporting the iconic blue jersey of the Stamford Bridge-based outfit. He previously charted a course to Spain after Arsenal decided to ship him off to Catalunya for free. However, he is set to return to the city, joining the ranks of their neighbouring arch-rivals.

Auba was recently cleared to fly to the United Kingdom to complete the formalities that come with joining a new club, including his medical. His personal terms are not expected to be a roadblock in completing this transfer.

His recovery is well on track and he is expected to return to non-contact training in a week and full fitness in no more than three.

Thomas Tuchel urged "soft"&nbsp;Chelsea&nbsp;to toughen up after a shock 2-1 defeat against Southampton plunged his spluttering team into Premier League turmoil on Tuesday. Tuchel's side blew the lead at St Mary's after Raheem Sterling put them ahead midway through the first half. England forward Sterling bagged his third goal in two games with a close-range strike in the 23rd minute.

But&nbsp;Chelsea&nbsp;had squandered a host of chances before Sterling's opener and, not for the first time in Tuchel's reign, their profligate finishing came back to haunt them. Romeo Lavia equalized in the 28th minute with his first goal for Southampton, curling home from the edge of the area after&nbsp;Chelsea&nbsp;failed to clear a corner.

Adam Armstrong put Southampton ahead on the stroke of half-time as he took Romain Perraud's pass and drilled a deflected shot past&nbsp;Chelsea&nbsp;keeper Edouard Mendy. Chelsea, beaten 3-0 at Leeds in their previous away fixture, were unable to muster a response as they slipped to a second defeat from their last three games.

"Soft, soft, soft defending. There is no need to give shots away. Just toughen up as a team and show a different mentality," Tuchel said.

With just two wins from their first five matches, the Blues are already five points behind leaders Arsenal, who play their game in hand against Aston Villa on Wednesday. Despite a significant close-season spending spree, which is set to continue with several more signings mooted before Thursday's transfer deadline,&nbsp;Chelsea&nbsp;are struggling to find any sustained momentum at present.

While it is too early to write them out of the title race, Tuchel will be concerned by his team's latest sloppy display -- with key mistakes at both ends of the pitch -- having already criticised them publicly after the Leeds loss.

"It is too easy to put us off balance, to beat us, to confuse us. It is too easy. It happened against Leeds. We need to understand why and find solutions," Tuchel said. "We lose concentration, we lose our plan and lose consistency. I don't understand why we have so many injuries. "In a match where you are in the lead there is no need to give away half-chances. To have no answers in the second half was disappointing."

Everton's wait for a first win this season goes on after Luis Sinisterra's first league goal for Leeds earned a 1-1 draw at Elland Road. Frank Lampard's team went ahead when Alex Iwobi's incisive pass was flicked through the legs of Diego Llorente by Anthony Gordon, whose clinical finish capped a superb move in the 17th minute.

Fourth-placed Brighton had won three of their first four games, but Marco Silva's promoted side broke the deadlock in the 48th minute through Aleksandar Mitrovic's fifth goal this season. Neeskens Kebano provided the pass and Serbia striker Mitrovic tapped in at the far post for his 100th league goal for the Cottagers.

Fulham doubled their lead seven minutes later as Brighton defender Lewis Dunk diverted Andreas Pereira's cross into his own net.Alexis Mac Allister converted a 60th minute penalty for Brighton after Pervis Estupinan fouled Bobby De Cordova-Reid.

Yoane Wissa's late leveller rescued Brentford in their 1-1 draw at Crystal Palace. Wilfried Zaha showed why Arsenal and&nbsp;Chelsea&nbsp;have been linked with him as the Ivory Coast forward gave Palace the lead with a brilliant strike from the edge of the area after 59 minutes. The&nbsp;Cristiano Ronaldo transfer saga has remained in the headlines for a long period. While Ronaldo remains desperate to leave Manchester United, his agent Jorge Mendes is working hard to fulfill his client's demand of finding him a new and suitable club. As per reports, the Portuguese striker wants to make a move as he is eager to play the Champions League (CL) and, thus, remains adamant about exiting the club at Old Trafford.&nbsp;

Mendes has reportedly been in talks with many top clubs such as Chelsea, PSG, Bayern Munich, Athletico Madrid, etc. for Ronaldo's transfer. However, nothing emerged out of these discussions. As per a report, he has once again reopened talks with Chelsea after they failed to acquire the services of Barcelona striker&nbsp;Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.&nbsp;Pierre-Emerick reportedly isn't keen on signing a one-year contract being offered by the Blues and wants a longer deal. Hence, the Man United striker Ronaldo has once again come into the picture for the Thomas Tuchel-led club, who are in need of an aggressive striker post the departure of&nbsp;Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner.

Earlier, Mendes had first held talks with Chelsea about signing Ronaldo. Back then, Tuchel had his apprehensions and decided against it after unimpressive feedback about the superstar striker from Erik Ten Hag, manager at Old Trafford. Despite Chelsea owner&nbsp;Todd Boehly reportedly being interested in acquiring the Portugal captain's services, the deal went down the drain. Nonetheless, it seems with Aubameyang's deal getting stalled, Ronaldo has a chance to make a switch and enter Chelsea.

Liverpool&nbsp;earned their first win of the season in stunning fashion after equalling the record for the biggest ever Premier League victory with a 9-0 thrashing of promoted Bournemouth at Anfield on Saturday.

Two goals inside the opening six minutes from Luis Diaz and Harvey Elliot put the hosts into a commanding position from the off.

A stunning strike from England full-back Trent Alexander Arnold which arrowed into the top corner gave&nbsp;Liverpool&nbsp;a three-goal lead in the 28th minute before Roberto Firmino got in on the act with a fourth three minutes later.

Not done there,&nbsp;Liverpool&nbsp;had a fifth before the interval, with Virgil van Dijk heading home from a corner -- the first time the Reds had netted five in the first half of a league game since 1958.

Chris Mepham's own goal had the visitors staring at the prospect of an embarrassing drubbing, with such worries heightening after a close-range finish from Firmino and substitute Fabio Carvalho's volley.

After Diaz headed in the ninth,&nbsp;Liverpool&nbsp;had five minutes to become the first side to score 10 goals in a Premier League match. But despite some late scares, Bournemouth did just enough to avoid suffering that ignominy.

Along with Manchester United twice and Leicester City, four teams have now scored nine in a Premier League match, while&nbsp;Liverpool&nbsp;equalled their own league win record with Saturday's thrashing.

"We had to prove a point to ourselves,"&nbsp;Liverpool&nbsp;coach Juergen Klopp said as he celebrated the biggest ever competitive win of his managerial career.

"We were not happy with how we played so far this season, but we had good moments in those games.

"We just had to give the game a proper direction and that's why I loved the start today. Two wonderful goals, everything about them.

"We kept going, scoring different goals but with the same purpose to keep up the pressure. In the end it was the perfect football afternoon."

The last time&nbsp;Liverpool&nbsp;failed to win any of their opening four games of a season was back in 2012-13, a feat never likely to be repeated once Diaz's third-minute header on the end of Mohamed Salah's cross had found the net.

It was the first time in eight league games that&nbsp;Liverpool&nbsp;scored first, and before long the hosts added a second in the Merseyside sunshine as young Elliot rifled home from the edge of the penalty area.

A third was quickly forthcoming, and worth the wait for an expectant Anfield, with Alexander-Arnold firing an unstoppable strike into the net, while there was more than an element of fortune about&nbsp;Liverpool's fourth finished off by Firmino.

In finding the net, the Brazilian became the first&nbsp;Liverpool&nbsp;player to be involved in four goals - three assists and a goal - in the Premier League.

Van Dijk's header meant it was going to be a long second half for the visitors, with the feeling of dread even more prevalent after Mepham's own goal just after the break made it six.

A poor parry from Bournemouth goalkeeper Mark Travers was then punished by Firmino, before Carvalho and Diaz again had supporters calling for 10, with Bournemouth looking decidedly panicked, but it was not to be.

Bournemouth have now conceded more goals (16) in their first four games of a Premier League season than any other side in the competition's history.

"It was a humbling experience what has happened today," Bournemouth coach Scott Parker said.

"We need to make a decision (in the transfer market) and give these players a break. They are struggling for air."

Liverpool equal Premier League record after demolishing Bournemouth with 9 goals

Manchester City's Erling Haaland struck a second-half hat-trick as the Premier League champions came back from two goals down to beat Crystal Palace 4-2 at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

The Norwegian, who averaged almost a goal per game in the Bundesliga for Borussia Dortmund before his move to City in June, has now scored six times in his opening four league matches for Pep Guardiola's side.

The win moves City to the top of the table, level on 10 points with Brighton &amp; Hove Albion. Palace are 13th with four points from their opening four games.

Haaland was given a standing ovation when he was substituted six minutes from the end but at halftime City were staring at a possible repeat of their 2-0 home loss to Palace last season.

An own goal from John Stones in the fourth minute put Patrick Vieira's south London side ahead and then the visitors doubled their lead when an unmarked Joachim Andersen powered in a header from an Eberechi Eze corner in the 21st minute.

City struggled to find their fluency but the almost inevitable comeback started in the 53rd when Bernardo Silva cut in from the right and his low shot took a slight deflection and beat goalkeeper Vicente Guaita.

Guardiola then made a double substitution and moved Phil Foden to left back and within a minute he had delivered a pinpoint cross which Haaland met with a fine glancing header.

The striker then turned the ball in from close range after a clever move inspired by Silva and saved the best for last -- showing Ilkay Gundogan the pass he wanted to run onto and then holding off Joel Ward as he fired into the bottom corner.

"It was a proud moment for me and my family and I'm so happy. Amazing feeling to score a hat-trick," said Haaland.

"It's about trying to continue what we are doing. It was about small adjustments and we did that and got results. We had to listen to the manager," said the Norwegian.

Haaland said it was important that City did not panic after Palace's early goals.

"It's a mentality that we trust each other and we know the chances will come. It's about keeping going. In the end we scored four goals and that's a really good thing.

The win moves City to the top of the table, level on 10 points with Brighton & Hove Albion. Palace are 13th with four points from their opening four games. Erik ten Hag reviews performance against Southampton, claims lessons were learnt from Brentford loss

Manchester United's controversial defender Harry Maguire was recently dealt a heavy blow after gaffer Erik ten Hag declared that his role as skipper did not guarantee his return to the starting lineup.&nbsp;

Ten Hag further admitted that having the likes of Raphael Varane on the squad only made the decision to sideline Maguire that much easier. The Dutchman recently offered fans an example of the same.

Cristiano Ronaldo's agent knocks on Serie A giants Napoli's door as the Portuguese star eyes Man United exit

Cristiano Ronaldo made heads turn when he gatecrashed Sky Sports' pre-match show ahead of Manchester United's home encounter versus Liverpool in the ongoing English Premier League (EPL) 2022/23 season on Monday (August 22), at Old Trafford.

Ronaldo, who was not named in the starting XI for the Red Devils, came over to the touchline to interact with Sky Sports' star-studded team. While the Portuguese captain&nbsp;shook hands with former United skipper Gary Neville, he completely blanked ex-Liverpool and England defender Jamie Carragher. It is to be noted that the former English player has been vocal in criticising Ronaldo over his recent actions at Man United. Thus, the superstar striker brutually ignored him and left after having a few words with Roy Keane. Carragher, on the other hand, was completely taken aback by Ronaldo's behaviour.

Thus, former Liverpool defender Jose&nbsp;Enrique has lashed out at the 37-year-old Ronaldo's actions.&nbsp;“Keane and Gary(Neville) they have been killing him on Sky Sports as well so I’m sure is not because of that. Someone that played football for that long and made so many appearances for Liverpool at least you say hi out of respect. Another thing why I will never like Cristiano Ronaldo and when football finish let’s see who he will have around being like this,” the former Liverpool wrote on Twitter.

'Will never...': Former Liverpool star lashes out at Cristiano Ronaldo for brutally ignoring Jamie Carragher

Manchester United&nbsp;star Cristiano Ronaldo's recent cameo on Sky Sports' pitch-side interaction featuring the likes of Roy Keane, Gary Neville&nbsp;and Jamie Carragher sent fans into a frenzy after they caught wind of their conversation ahead of United's match against Liverpool.

In what was a rather brief exchange of words at the commentary huddle on the outfield, Ronaldo and Keane discussed how he was left out of the starting lineup for the match. In a most curious moment, Keane said, "Benched?" when approached by Ronaldo, who responded by saying, "What do you want me to do?".

Keane beamed, "Get in the team." To which the five-time Ballon d'Or winner retorted by saying, "I know." He subsequently walked away from the huddle to resume his warm-up with the rest of his team.

It is interesting to note that shortly before his exchange with Keane, Ronaldo also&nbsp;blanked&nbsp;Jamie Carragher&nbsp;as the former Liverpool star tried to interact with the Portuguese icon. Ronaldo refused to shake hands with Carragher, preferring to greet and hug Neville before going around him to interact with Keane. The snub could possibly be attributed to the fact that Carragher has been vocally critical of Ronaldo in recent times.

The 44-year-old, however, managed to see the funny side of their interaction, or lack thereof, as he admitted that he was completely blanked by the Manchester United star before breaking into uproarious laughter with the rest of his crew.

Shortly after their pre-game interaction, the Erik ten Haag-led&nbsp;Manchester United went on to record a crucial 2-1 win against Jurgen Klopp's band of speedsters, bouncing back from two opening losses on the trot. Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford's goals in each half were more than enough to seal Liverpool's fate at Old Trafford despite Mohamed&nbsp;Salah's late header.
