Sanju Samson made his India debut in T20I in 2015 but has played only 49 T20Is till date. His second appearance in the shortest format came in 2020 - five years after his debut. Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal has strongly denied the cheating allegations on Wednesday (Oct 8) made by his ex-wife, choreographer, Dhanashree Verma. A recent clip from her current OTT reality show went viral, where she hinted that Chahal had cheated on her just two months into their marriage. Responding to the claim, Chahal said the accusations were false and baseless. "I am a sportsperson, and I do not cheat. If someone cheats in just two months, would the relationship even last four and a half years?" Chahal said in a conversation with the HT Media house. Prithvi Shaw is back making headlines in Indian Cricket. If his 181 against Mumbai in a friendly game wasn’t worthy enough to grab attention, his on-field antics, which were avoidable, surely were. In a shocking revelation, Pat Cummins and Travis Head were informally offered 'life-changing' money to quit Australian cricket for the franchise-based T20 leagues worldwide. Four-time world champions Italy will be desperate to avoid the play-offs, after losing at that stage in qualifying for both the 2018 and 2022 World Cups to Sweden and North Macedonia, respectively. France, the 2018 World Cup winners and runners-up three years ago, could also qualify with victories against Azerbaijan and Iceland, if Iceland draw with Ukraine. European champions Spain too have an opportunity to book a ticket to North and Central America if they defeat both Georgia and Bulgaria, but only if multiple other results go their way in Group E. Croatia and Switzerland could also qualify in the coming week. Germany, though, have little margin for error in Group A after a shock defeat by Slovakia in their opening qualifier.
